Tower Hamlets Nine (TH9)

Quddus Ali was beaten to a pulp 12 years ago by a racist gang in the East End.

During a peaceful vigil for Quddus, local youth responded with violence after being subjected to police provocation. Nine youth were arrested and received cult status after being named the 'Tower Hamlets Nine (TH9). Asian Dub Foundation even dedicated a song to them called TH9.
