Watch 'Voices', the discussion chat show for Muslim women on channel 791, Bangla TV, live on Tuesday 7.30pm. We aim to chit chat over coffee - in front of cameras of course! - on a whole host of issues ranging from how to guide our youth, the pressures of being beautiful, to the infamous problem of dealing with in laws!
This week we will be looking at a continuing problem within the Bangladeshi and Asian community of how women are viewed and treated. Does certain aspects of Bangladeshi culture deem women to be l ower status? If so, what does this mean? How do women in the community feel about this?
