As we herald in the clash of two modern day titans
Beware of a port city’s Red clan bearing gifts
The dawn of Rafa’s Iliad will be reborn and enlighten
The Attica Periphary of Central Greece
Did you know that the Trojan horse was actually a Greek mare?
As Liverpool look set to reclaim their rightful crown
As the Milanese will discover, blinded by a powerful Red flair
Leaving with nothing but a rueful frown
As Liverpool will unleash Achilles
The cradle of civilisation will be raving mad
A giant of the Trojan war will be unleashed on the sweet breeze
By the most magnificent warrior of Rafael’s Iliad
The historic ancient Agora will see no Achilles heel
As in the shade of the Acropolis, vivtory the Reds will seal

Nought from the Greeks towards me hath sped well.
So now I find that ancient proverb true,
Foes' gifts are no gifts: profit bring they none.
Sophocles (496 - 406 BC),Ajax
In case you haven’t figured… Achilles = Gerrard
