The Swadhinata Trust runs projects that aim to document the experiences of Bengali settlement. In particular, the project aims at engaging young people in discovering their own history and heritage through the active participation in the research of the Tower Hamlet’s Bengali community.
The Trust is looking for volunteers to carry out research. Those interested will receive travel costs and will also be provided with training in community research. Supervision sessions and support will be available throughout your time as a volunteer for the project.
