Transforming the Ocean

Week 3: This week saw the start of the knockdown of the iconic Bengal House. If you look closely you can see the top right corner knocked off.

This ceremonial event took place yesterday with Tower Hamlets Mayor Lutfur Rahman, Deputy Mayor Ohid Ahmed , Councillor Rofique, and Councillor Abdal Ullah attending. Khalid Hussain & Minal Miah have put together a nice video. 

I will do a separate post on the demolition of Bengal House.
