‘Exploring Bow’s Parks and Waterways’

A five-week photo-walk course to help bring Bow into focus

Friday 19^th August – Looking afresh at the local area.

Our group met at St Barnabas Church, on the corner of Roman Road and Grove Road.

On our walk we explored some Bow side streets, the Hertford Union Canal, a short section of the Regent’s Canal, Wennington Gardens and the Ecology Park.

Along the way, we used local history, stories and a photo-trail as prompts. During the second part of this session we were introduced to camera skills, especially focusing. Apart from Graham and Natalie, we were fortunate to have lens maestro Dan McCurry in our midst and I picked up a few healthy tips.
