I joined a few hundred Wally's at Victoria Park to run, dance, walk, hop, step, skip their way over the course in aid of the Literacy Trust. What a great combination - A great book and keeping fit. There was a good warm up before the runners set off at their different paces. There were old and young alike. There were children, pensioners and feven family pets. There was good spirit amongst the runners and the outfits attracted attention from passerby and vistors. My family came to watch me run for the very first time - 11 years since I ran the London Marathon.
