It’s time to talk!

So many folk are unable to address their mental health because they’re staying strong for everyone else.

Mental health is not detectable if someone keeps it private. Often it comes to the fore when the said individual loses all control or has a major breakdown.

The majority maintain a sunshine smile and keep it under wraps for fear of stigma and to not worry those who rely on them so much.

It’s important we as a society can encourage openness. You don’t have to shout it from the hills but you should be able to share anything causing anxiety with someone trusted and thus halve the problem at the very least.

Often the stumbling block is breaking the ice. If anyone notices something amiss it may be better to step up the engagement levels a teeny bit more to reinforce the belief that you really are there if needs be - Being seemingly oblivious does help in these situations.
