CHARITIES BENEFIT FROM DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL

Emdad Rahman: Thousands of people flocked to Fairlop Waters - the largest Country Park and Leisure facility, located in the London Borough of Redbridge to enjoy a day of merriment and festivities.

The Dragon Boat Race Festival is a charity fundraiser that is organised by the Rotary Clubs of Tower Hamlets, Canary Wharf, Newham & Barkingside.

The Dragon Boat Race enables Rotary Clubs and various Organisations to raise funds for their own chosen charities. The event lasted all day and included several legs of water racing.
