Rahul & Nabil are Karate Champs


Emdad Rahman: Rahul Khan from Shikon Karate Club has become a Karate Sport England National Champion in the individual fighting event. ( Category. 11-12 years over 40KG). The aspiring Cardiologist attained first place in the team event. Rahul, aged 12, attends Ilford County High, which is one of the best selective Grammar schools in London. He started Karate when he was 6 years old. The year 7 pupil is a brown belt 3 stripe and is one belt away from the coveted black belt. This October he will participate in the European Championships in Hungary. 

Rahul's younger brother Nabil Khan attained Karate Sport England's Bronze medallist in his individual fighting category too. (9-10 years - under 35KG) Nabil attends Ray Lodge Primary School, Woodford Green. He is  currently 9 years old and started Karate training when he was 6 years old. He is currently a brown belt 1 stripe. Like his brother he enjoys karate and also wants to become a Neurologist. 

Karate runs in the family and we may see a future chamopion in the form of younger sister Ramisa Purni Khan, aged 7, who is a green belt.
