The Corona Chronicles - I’m glad to see it’s a ghost town!

It’s like Christmas Eve out there - Like a ghost town with a handful of people and cars on the road. At least people are listening.

We delivered 12 food packs today. Most of the recipients are repeats from Sunday with three new referrals received.

One recipient has asked to come off the list and that’s a positive sign that people are a little more relaxed. The panic buying early on has traumatised quite a few.

I only had to deliver two litres of blue top milk and a book very close by today so took a long cycle round to combine both activities.

The older you are the more serious the chances of infection are. Even with elderly hour at superstores experts are still advising those over 70 to stay put if they have someone to do their chores. We will be prioritising the elderly.

We need pasta, baked beans, cereals, bread and milk if anyone’s feeling generous. These can be delivered to us on a Saturday.
