I have never seen anybody lose out through giving!
Shanaz, my coaching colleague called about providing some hot food and we arranged for some home cooked rice, aloo, veg, roti with salad.
The food was cooked by Shanaz, Azad, and the little ones Ehsan, Ismail and Ayaan who are regulars at Ekota Cricket Clubs weekly sessions. It goes without saying that since lockdown we really miss their energy at training.
The food was delivered piping hot to Brocklebank Lodge Homeless Hostel.
A giving heart is a radiant one!
Thanks go to coach and the family. It is indeed during difficult times that we see the true spirit of the people of a community.
I had one foodpack delivery today for the HCC Foodbank and one failed trip to the bank. Yesterday I started working from home when on leave. This pandemic is playing havoc with my sense of time!
