40 minutes of working from home and then it strikes you that you’re supposed to be on leave.
As soon as I realised I swiftly retired myself to an exotic location - the settee lounger and this will be my base fur the next ten days.
Today there were three food pack drops, including hot food and one medicine pick up. I actually get quite nervous at the Chemists. People get mouthy with each other and despite clear markings so many still flout social distancing rules openly. I can’t wait to get out of there fast enough.
There was also one book drop today - A tiny bit of marvellous by Dawn French!
Tomorrow we have hot food. I’ve avoided hospitals as apart from their own canteens providing free food, they have received so many lovely donations that I think we may be reaching the point where food is/may be wasted as staff have no capacity to eat so much.
Stay safe by staying indoors everyone. It’s not much when you consider there are people who have no home or shelter.
