Four foodpack drops for the HCC Foodbank. There was also one collection by a local nurse for a vulnerable patient.
I’m beginning to prefer lunch break drops. It ensures I actually move away from the laptop, get some exercise in and do a few food pack drops.
The team have a big shop planned for tomorrow to stock up for the weekend. We have now got 31 houses to deliver to on a Saturday. With the week day drops we are close to sharing 50 packs a week.
Today’s cycle took me down some streets I’ve never seen before so that was really nice.
Dennis was in top form when I dropped off his pack - “You’re going to be an Olympian by the time this all clears up,” he said.
I appreciate the confidence old mate but right now I’ll settle for avoiding a tyre puncture.
