Dementia Friends are working hard to support people affected by dementia by exploring new and innovative ways to deliver services.
Although Champions like me are not delivering Dementia Friends in person the Alzheimer’s Society are still here for everyone.

www.alzheimers.org.uk is a fantastic way to connect with other people affected by dementia, share personal experience and receive valuable support.
The Alzheimer’s Society are currently investigating ways of supporting Champions like myself to deliver Dementia Friends Information Sessions remotely. This could be via video calling, live streaming or online webinar platforms.
As a community it’s important we focus on social isolation. There are many people affected by dementia who will be self-isolating and this is a hugely challenging time.
Together we really can make a difference.
