A massive vote of thanks to an anonymous friend who has today donated a large number of cooked rice packs and bread for One Third Soup Kitchen to distribute to homeless friends at the Welcome Project, which provides many services to men and women who are homeless.
The project provides information, advice and guidance on a range of issues associated with homelessness; practical support; support with entering the job market; a nurse led clinic; counselling; alternative therapies and a chiropody clinic.
The vision of the project is to enable Homeless and Vulnerable Adults to live independent, healthy and fulfilled lives.
Although the work is motivated by their Christian faith the Welcome Centre welcomed us like their own. Humanity and togetherness is what makes the difference here.
Our shared values include dignity, justice, compassion and being non-judgmental.
One Third Soup Kitchen are proud to support such a flagship organisation run by dedicated and selfless people.
